Meet Our Team

A mother of six, Etienna is a leader in the Shrewsbury community, offering compassionate care to adults with intellectual disabilities through her business A Touch of Home Day Center. The Bridge Academy is her newest gift to the families of St. Louis, combining a love of children with her lifelong passion for serving the most vulnerable in our community.

Raising a child with autism inspired Lucia to leave her career as a magazine editor to pursue her other love: working with children on the spectrum. Lucia brings 16 years of specialized parenting experience and therapeutic know-how to the classroom and is a fierce advocate for children with autism and their families.
