The Bridge Academy is a private early childcare center serving St. Louis/St.Peters children— Call today to learn more about our new center opening in St. Peters!

Our Infant Program (for children 6 weeks to 18 months) offers families an exceptional child care experience for their little learners in our brand new center.

Our Daycare Program (for children 1 to 6 years old) is staffed with First Aid and CPR Certified teachers providing individualized care and a thoughtful daily routine that will help them remain calm and productive while they have a whole lot of fun!

Our Pre-K Program (serving children ages 4 to 6) combines the structure of a traditional kindergarten learning environment to help our kids gain academic readiness, as well as the independence and social awareness they need to achieve success in a general education classroom.  We focus on developing daily routines to adapting curriculum and structuring playtime so that our students learn to build confidence, to think for themselves, to thrive in a group learning environment, and to make and keep friends.

We are committed to providing a fun, loving, and safe refuge for our students to reach their potential. Schedule a tour!

Tuition

Tuition
includes:

cutting-edge therapy

Access a proven therapeutic approach not  offered anywhere else in the St. Louis/St.Peters area.

small class size

We enroll only 10 students per class to provide optimum student/teacher ratios so we can give your child the individualized care he or she requires.

Parent Education

Our parent education evenings allow moms, dads, grandparents, and other caregivers to learn more about the strategies we use in our classrooms so you can foster independence, confidence, and communication at home.

classroom structure

At The Bridge Academy, we've developed our program to help your child practice and experience success in our classrooms so that the shift to the daily routines of school life is a smooth transition. Our rooms are staffed by experienced teachers with a passion for—and expertise in—working with children.

GROSS MOTOR ROOM

More than an awesome indoor playground, our gross motor room is an important tool for working on such skills as turn taking, following verbal and non-verbal instruction, waiting in line, as well as giving our kiddos some much needed movement.

FIELD TRIPS

Older students will have the opportunity to participate in community outings to practice social behavior, explore our city, and just have a little fun. It's tough to assess skills without getting into the world and using them. These outings are where the rubber meets the road!

team collaboration

Because every child has different strengths, weaknesses, and needs, we expect families to collaborate on their child's care, whether that means scheduling weekly check-ins, sharing daily progress notes, or attending parent get-togethers and teacher conferences.

All  the extras

From holiday parties to music class, we are committed to giving your child all the fun extras that come with being in school. Enrollment at The Bridge Academy also includes nutritionally balanced meals and snacks prepared by on-site cooks, as well as one polo-style uniform shirt.

OUR APPROACH

our Pre-K
approach

little-boy-ready-for-school-with-mom_edi

The Bridge Academy Pre-K Program is composed of two classrooms of 10 students, each run by a lead teacher with support. Our educators will deliver an adapted Pre-K curriculum aligned to Missouri Early Learning standards. The ideal Academy applicant is generally able to function in a social or educational setting with minimal assistance from adults but struggles with the softer communication and social skills that hold so many of our children back from excelling in gen. ed. Our team will help your child learn to:

follow instructions from multiple individuals,

become a group learner rather than an individual learner,

anticipate and tolerate change,

self-advocate,

practice shared control,

become more flexible with people and objects,

and much more!

To bring the approach home, quite literally, The Bridge Academy team will host parent education nights so that you can learn how to effectively incorporate protocols into everyday interactions with your child. Our goal is to build a collaborative community of trained experts and family members coming together with a common goal: To teach our children to be independent in all settings rather than relying on adults to help them navigate their world.
